Request a temporary debit card limit increase
Need a temporary increase to your debit card limit? Submit a request through Online Banking or the GFA mobile app.
How to request an increase
- Sign in to Online Banking or open the GFA mobile app.
- Select Debit Cards > Increase Card Limit.
- Choose the debit card you want to update.
- Complete the request form, including:
- The temporary limit amount
- The date the increase should end
- Submit your request.
Important details
- You can request up to $6,000 for ATM withdrawals and $6,000 for debit card purchases.
- The increase usually takes effect in less than one minute.
- You can request an increase only for a card in your own name—not a joint owner’s card.
- The increase is temporary and ends automatically on the date you select.
- The end date cannot be later than the next business day.
- For an increase above $6,000 or for a longer period, call us or visit a branch.
