At GFA, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve and being a partner in their continued growth. Through donations, employee volunteerism, nonprofit partnerships, and financial-literacy education, we help strengthen the neighborhoods and towns we call home while supporting the people and organizations that make them thrive.

Community Commitment

We’re lifting up our community. The core of our mission is to improve the quality of life for those individuals and businesses we serve, as well as the communities in which they reside. We do this by investing in community/charitable activities and partnering with local non-profit organizations.

How GFA Supports Our Communities

 

Our community support focuses on organizations and programs that strengthen the communities we serve and improve quality of life for individuals, families, businesses, and the neighborhoods where they live and work. By investing in local initiatives and partnering with nonprofit organizations, we help create stronger, more connected communities.

Eligible for Community Support:

  • Education (emphasis on financial literacy)
  • Health and Human Services
  • Veterans Services
  • Youth Services

Not Eligible for Community Support:

  • Endowments
  • For-Profit organizations
  • Individuals or individual fundraising efforts
  • Political fundraising or views
  • Religious entities
  • Unions

Submit a Community Support Request

Fill out support form using the link below! Please be sure to include all your contact information. Our Community Support Team meets once a month to review requests.

Submissions must include:

  • A full description of the purpose of the request and how the financial contribution will be used to support the endeavor
  • A copy of the tax exempt status
  • Any relationship with organization or its officers has with the credit union
  • Marketing opportunities for GFA (ex. press release or photo opportunity)
  • Partnership opportunities

Community events, tournaments, and advertising requests must meet the same guidelines
